Mental health is about feeling capable and self-assured; being able to cope with everyday levels of stress, enter and maintain satisfying relationships, and live a satisfying life. It also involves resiliency or the ability to "bounce back," or recover from difficult situations that occur during the course of one's interactions and activities. It is about learning how to be the person you want to be, figuring out what makes you happy and finding the will to do it.
At the D/N CMHS, our goal is to help you to help yourself. If something is limiting the way you interact with your family and friends. If something is getting the best of you in your work and play, we'll help you get to the bottom of it.
